A Special Local Opportunity

A loving home for Joy from the very beginning

Joy was born June 21, 2026, and is ready for her forever home through our local guardian program. Her burgundy red tuxedo coloring gives her a rich red-brown coat with beautiful white markings.

A guardian placement allows Joy to grow up as a cherished family dog in one permanent home while remaining part of the Sage Puppies breeding program for a limited period. The right family will value consistent care, communication, training, grooming, and a long-term relationship with our program.

Joy’s guardian family will be chosen based on household fit, proximity, reliability, and the family’s ability to support her throughout every stage of the program—not coat color or appearance alone.

Understanding the Program

What it means to be Joy’s guardian family

A guardian home is not a temporary foster arrangement. Joy will live permanently with her guardian family while Sage Puppies retains specific breeding-program rights under a written agreement.

01

Joy lives with you

Your home becomes Joy’s permanent family home. You provide the everyday love, structure, companionship, training, and care she needs to thrive.

02

We remain partners

Sage Puppies stays closely connected and coordinates breeding-program decisions, appointments, timing, and approved program-related care according to the agreement.

03

Ownership transfers later

After Joy completes her breeding-program commitments and the agreement has been fulfilled, she is retired, spayed according to the agreement, and full ownership transfers to her guardian family.
