Sage Puppies does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS consent, or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. 5. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies, pixels, log files, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, improve performance, understand website traffic, protect against spam or security threats, and evaluate how visitors use our pages.

Google Analytics and Site Kit

We may use Google Analytics through Site Kit by Google or related Google tools to understand how visitors find and use our website. Google Analytics may collect information such as device and browser information, pages visited, approximate location, referring website, and interactions with our website.

You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use Google services at Google’s partner sites information page. You may also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on where available.

Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some website features, forms, security tools, or embedded services.

Read our Cookie Policy for more information about cookies and your choices.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information when needed to operate our website, communicate with you, provide requested services, coordinate puppy reservations, and comply with legal obligations.

We may share information with:

  • Website, hosting, security, analytics, performance, and email service providers.
  • Form, notification, SMS, and customer communication providers.
  • Payment processors or financial service providers if you make a payment or deposit.
  • Delivery, transport, travel, or scheduling providers when needed to coordinate safe puppy delivery or pickup.
  • Professional advisors, such as legal, tax, accounting, compliance, or insurance providers.
  • Government authorities, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect our rights, safety, customers, puppies, website, or business.

Service providers are expected to use information only as needed to provide services to Sage Puppies or as otherwise permitted by law.

Staff Google Calendar connection

Authorized Sage Puppies staff may choose to connect Google Calendar to Sage Families for operational scheduling and a private daily agenda. The connection uses the staff member’s verified Google email address. With permission, it reads event identifiers, titles, start and end dates or times, and event status from that staff member’s primary Google Calendar. Google’s read permission covers calendars the account owns; Sage Families requests event data only from the primary calendar.

The connection creates a private Sage Operations calendar and synchronizes Sage Families appointment titles, dates or times, planning status, and links back to the staff workspace. It manages events in this app-created calendar. Estimated planning dates remain clearly identified as estimates.

Calendar information may appear in the staff member’s private agenda, including emails delivered through SiteMailer and texts delivered through Twilio when those channels are enabled. It is used for scheduling and reminders, not sold or used for advertising or AI model training. Sage Families’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Connection credentials and access tokens are stored encrypted on our website. Staff can turn off calendar inclusion in the agenda, pause synchronization, or revoke the connection through Google Account connections. Revoking access stops future access; existing calendar events, delivered agendas, and business records may remain. Contact us to request removal of retained information, subject to applicable business and legal needs.

7. Payments and deposits

If Sage Puppies accepts deposits, reservations, or other payments through a third-party payment processor, payment information may be collected and processed by that provider. We may receive transaction details such as payment status, amount, date, name, contact information, and related reservation information.

We do not intentionally collect or store full credit card numbers through our standard website forms. Please review the privacy policy of any payment processor used at checkout or payment submission.

Privacy choices and updates

8. Data security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, transmission, storage system, or communication method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including responding to inquiries, reviewing applications, managing reservations, coordinating puppy placement, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, complying with legal obligations, and operating our website.

When information is no longer needed, we may delete, archive, de-identify, or securely retain it as appropriate for our business and legal needs.

9. Your choices and rights

You may contact Sage Puppies to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have provided to us. We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law. These rights may include the right to know whether personal information is being processed, access certain personal information, request deletion, obtain a copy of certain information, or opt out of certain types of data use.

You may opt out of non-essential email communications by following unsubscribe instructions where available or by contacting us. You may opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP to a text message from us where supported.

10. Children’s privacy

Our website and puppy application process are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate consent, please contact us so we can review and address the issue.

12. Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our website, forms, services, technology, legal requirements, or business practices. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when this Privacy Policy was most recently revised.
