Begin with the puppy profiles, then learn about the three breeds we raise. An individual puppy and its parents matter more than a label alone; adult size, coat, shedding, temperament, and health outcomes cannot be guaranteed. ### Havanese A small companion breed whose soft coat needs regular attention. Ask about the puppy’s everyday behavior and grooming routine. [Explore Havanese](https://sagepuppies.com/havanese-puppies-for-sale-florida/) . ### Havapoo A Havanese–Poodle mix. Coat texture, size, and activity can vary; review the individual puppy and both parents. [Explore Havapoo](https://sagepuppies.com/havapoo-puppies-for-sale-in-florida/) . ### Cavapoo A Cavalier King Charles Spaniel–Poodle mix. Ask about this puppy’s coat, play, rest, and need for company. [Explore Cavapoo](https://sagepuppies.com/cavapoo-puppies-for-sale-florida/) . If you are still deciding among the three, visit our [breed overview](https://sagepuppies.com/breeds/) before narrowing your search. This guide focuses on availability and the steps to bring a puppy home. ![Small reddish-brown puppy with white paws sitting on a gray upholstered stool indoors](https://sagepuppies.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/cassiesgooglephoto_1258-2.webp "Small Companion Puppy | Florida Puppy Shopping Guide") Photo for illustration; check the live profiles for current puppies. Look beyond the photo ## What should you confirm about a particular puppy? Open the puppy’s own profile, then ask questions that connect that puppy to your family’s timeline and daily life: - **Current status:** Is this specific puppy open for a family placement, and when might a match be confirmed? - **Parents and records:** Which parent dogs are involved, what health information is available for them, and what puppy wellness records will you receive? - **Individual observations:** What has the puppy shown in play, handling, quiet time, and new experiences? What is too early to predict? - **Go-home timing:** When may the puppy be ready, subject to its development and the agreed plan? - **Full cost:** What is the puppy-specific price, what is included, and what would a proposed Florida delivery arrangement cost? Read our [Health Testing](https://sagepuppies.com/about/health-testing/) and [Early Development](https://sagepuppies.com/about/early-development/) pages, then ask for the information relevant to this pairing. [Family reviews](https://sagepuppies.com/reviews/) can help you understand other families’ experiences without substituting for your own questions. ![Fluffy white and tan puppy lying in green grass and looking toward the camera](https://sagepuppies.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/cassiesgooglephoto_517-6.webp "Puppy in Grass | Florida Family Buyer Guide") Clear steps before a commitment ## Puppies for sale in Florida: from a profile to a plan 1. **1. A Florida family may discuss coordinated delivery from Utah, while an approved family may arrange pickup in South Jordan. There is no Florida pickup site. The travel method, timing, cost, and handoff depend on the puppy and the arrangement confirmed with your family. Review [Delivery & Pickup](https://sagepuppies.com/delivery-pickup/) and ask who will coordinate the handoff, which records travel with the puppy, and what happens if timing changes. Confirm the documents needed for the particular interstate trip with Sage Puppies and the transporting party; this page does not assert that one Florida rule applies to every transaction. ![Small brown puppy with white paws resting on a gray upholstered stool indoors](https://sagepuppies.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/cassiesgooglephoto_916-1.webp "Resting Puppy | Florida Delivery Planning") Prepare for the actual first week ## Set up a Florida routine before homecoming Before the puppy arrives, choose a quiet rest space and plan who handles meals, training, and age-appropriate potty breaks. In a condo, check the route to an approved outdoor area and the building’s pet rules. In hot or humid weather, plan shorter outdoor trips at cooler times and keep water and indoor play options ready. The [AVMA’s warm-weather pet safety guidance](https://www.avma.org/resources-tools/pet-owners/petcare/warm-weather-pet-safety) is a useful starting point; ask your veterinarian for advice tailored to your puppy. See our [Florida first-week preparation guide](https://sagepuppies.com/how-florida-families-can-prepare-for-a-puppys-first-week/) for home access, household routines and a portable pet emergency plan. If you have a trip scheduled soon after arrival, discuss the timing with us before making a reservation; a calm, predictable first week can be easier to plan than a rushed handoff. ![Fluffy tan puppy lying on a gray upholstered stool indoors](https://sagepuppies.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/cassiesgooglephoto_503-6.webp "Fluffy Puppy at Home | Florida First-Week Planning") Helpful answers ## Florida puppy buyer FAQs Is Sage Puppies located in Florida? No. Sage Puppies is based in South Jordan, Utah.
